3sb was founded to make building new technology more approachable for teams that care deeply about what they are creating.
Origin
We are a passionate team of builders, creatives, and unapologetic dreamers. We learned to code out of necessity, after being burned by overpriced and even predatory dev shops that overpromised and underdelivered. We stayed for the engineering itself.
What started as a hard lesson turned into an opportunity: to create the kind of third-party development experience we wish we had-- transparent, collaborative, and deeply human. With backgrounds in software, product marketing, and design across industries from scrappy startups to scaled enterprises, we understand both the urgency and vulnerability that come with building something new.
The pivot
Today, 3sb operates as a software studio.
We did not build 3sb to grow at all costs. We built it after experiencing what it feels like to be on the other side of rushed timelines, misaligned incentives, and partners who disappear once the contract is signed. Somewhere along the way, we realized we were drifting from our mission and needed to reassess, learn, and retool.
So we holistically redesigned our process to protect quality and commitment. We consolidated the team, we intentionally limit the number of active partners at any time, and we only onboard work when everyone involved aligns at three key levels.
